The iPhone 4 can do multitasking. The software update to 4.0 will also allow it on the 3GS.

iPhone and the best Android phones are quite evenly matched, each excelling in different areas. Your choice should depend on what you want it for.

As a games developer I have chosen the iPhone for now. I had considered Android ports, but the developer terms are awful, particularly regarding terrible refund terms. As a games player, the fact that developers are making more top games for the iPhone also makes it an easy choice for me.
