Brian.....
Can you explain CLEARLY why asking for higher SANITY in the safety levels at the TT is MORE 'sickening' than supporting an 'event' that you K*N*O*W and have A*L*W*A*Y*S KNOWN was going to K*I*L*L riders....?
I simply don't GET it: enlighten me!
You are an intelligent and thoughtful man but I suspect that your 'clarity of thought' has escaped you, this time.
My whole point is to try to get people to T*H*I*N*K about what they are supporting!
We CLOSED the old Nurburgring, the Old Spa, the Old Reims, the Old Brooklands, the banking at Monza, etc., etc., etc. simply because they were TOO dangerous. All of those tracks had EQUALLY as much mystique, magic, thrill, romance and TRILL as the TT. However, people are arguing to keep open an event which is FAR more lethal than ANY of those tracks EVER were. If it was TOO dangerous for Forumula 1 drivers, what IS it about Motorcyclists that means that THEY can put themselves at these LUDICROUS risks that we WILL NOT ask an F1 driver to take......
I just DON'T Get it!
All I want is for you, and others, to EXPLAIN it to me..... or face the fact that the supporters really DO rate motorcyclists' lives as LESS important than F1 drivers' lives.
Ian PS. hope to meet you soon at the Kai/Aixro day.
