Yup.... it's arguable that the ONLY people who don't seem to matter is motorcyclist......
I FULLY understand your argument about the RISK heightening the enjoyment of the spectators and the riders.
Now..... hold that argument in place.... and explain to me why you'd object to a BRITISH crowd being allowed to watch Gladiatorial combat as a spectator sport........ I am only ASSUMING you'd object.....
It would appear to to fulfil EXACTLY the same 'spellbinding excitement of risk'. It would kill ONLY those who VOLUNTARILY choose to enter. Yes.... we'd KNOW that deaths WOULD occur amongst the competitors..... and on ALL those grounds, it would appear to be IDENTICAL to what you are claiming for the TT......
So.... WOULD you object to the Isle of Man adding Man-to-Man gladiatorial combat to the list of 'exciting' things that are allowed? If so..... WHY? Remember, any reason for banning Gladiatorial combat must NOT be applicable to the TT....... if your argument in FAVOUR of the TT is to hold water!
