Do you really think that they were both still short shifting when going down the straight side by side? lol. Hence the reason why Jenson was being a naughty boy, the only result in him pulling a stunt like that is that both cars end up burning more fuel. Lewis is hardly going to move over and say, oh ok I'll let you win you cheekey little devil, is he? lol.

Short shifting/fuel saving and racing don't gel very well, you are either racing or you are not and Lewis wasn't racing so it was easy for Jenson to get into his slipstream, blip the throttle a little and then pass him. It wasn't a good idea from a team perspective.
