I don't doubt that anyone with Partisan politics of whatever colour would wish to maintain the Status Quo. But for every one of you there is another with the opposite stance, are you like itpro arrogant enough to think you are right and they are all wrong?
Or could it be that there are grains of truth in what most idealists or extremists believe?
Whether it be Thatcher, Blair or Brown, all of these people have come to power and tried to do their best for the nation using their own honestly held political philosophy.
To what degree any of them succeeded or failed is open to debate but this in most cases is far too biased towards the commentators own philosophy.
Much like war, it's the victors who write the history, so the losing administration is always and often unfairly vilified.
