The top brass at Mercedes have to justify their decision to employ Schumacher hence they are pulling out all the stops to make a car that suits him. You have to feel sorry for Rosberg who has simply out classed Schumacher. Proves as ever that Schumacher has his status within the team protected contractually.

But I hope someone outside the direct management of the team at Mercedes has the good sense to rein them in as Schuey is a spent force and no matter how much they pore into development on his behalf he is simply incapable of delivering against the level of competition that now exists in F1.

Schuey completely spoiled Jenson's race today but at least it showed just how little corner speed he is able to carry.

Shame it wasn't Lewis in Jenson's position as the overtake move he would have made would have been something special.
