Nice thinking..... but only because you won't THINK about what you are saying.

This stuff is pretty acedemic and even I am not quite this extreme.... but think about what you said:

The reason we give Humans the vote is because we deem then intelligent enough to vote..... and what PRECISELY is the reason we don't give the vote to apes in a Zoo? Becasue we consider them not INTELLIGENT enough to vote!

For precision, you have done EXACTLY what I have done (limiting voting by intelligence) except YOU set it at a level somewhat lower than I have. We have BOTH used a 'cut-off-level'; you implied it was ONLY me..... but it isn't!

But, in truth, the IQ test would only be PART of the 'threshold' to voting.... it would ALSO include some test of the voters UNDERSTANDING of what they are voting ABOUT! As a minimum, you'd need to know who was the CURRENT PM and who the leaders of the various parties contesting the election. I'd also make a basic understanding of the crucial points a threshold, too. You'd need to understand the concept of Immigration, Europe, Taliban, Pakistan, Nuclear deterent, Global Warming (that would eliminate HALF of the people here.....)..... and so on.

On another daft TV program, some moron was interviewed about her voting intentions and she said, and I quote:

"Hang on, I don't know..... we have a Labour Govt. at the moment......... don't we.....?"

Strike ONE voter off MY list!

If you don't understand the SUBJECT, you shouldn't be ALLOWED to vote! Ohhh.... and to put that in PC terms...... In My Opinion....
