How exactly have Labour shafted the working class?!

My parents, under the previous Tory government, nearly lost their house six times. They were offered the chance to buy their house with a very low interest rate on the mortgage, which was then hiked up by 175% (I worked it out!). They had to sacrifice savings for me and my two brothers, pension schemes, personal insurance, just to keep the house. Under Labour, my parents are now far better off than they ever have been. They've now been able to restart pension schemes, and both have personal insurance again. But we worked out the CONservatives cost them in the region of Ł32,500 over 10 years.

Now tell me we'd be better off with Tories in charge! I'm not taking the risk of ending up like my parents!
