Was lewis released into vettels path, yes he was. We have this very silly rule now on how close a car can be before you release, a rule thats very easy to police but one thats almost impossible to adhere to. If lewis didnt get as much wheel spin he'd of been in front of vettel, how is the lolipop man supposed to know how lewis will take off, you could argue that he should take that into account and hold lewis, well in the heat of battle and when your trying to win a race and with adrenalin pumping this will happen, another reason why ex drivers as stewards are a good idea.
Was Herbert actually on the panel? I only heard Wurz mentioned!
I think ex drivers on the panel is the best thing Todt has done to date, i would sooner have my driving judged by someone whos been there and done it than some suit wearing steward who hasnt got a clue.
Vettel moved over to where lewis WAS though, WASN'T and WAS are two totally oposite things, lewis WAS there and vettel KNEW it otherwise why not drive down the middle instead of squeezing lewis toward the pit boxes, now im not saying pitlanes are the widest things in the world but moves like vettels just make them narrower. We've seen plenty of side by sides in the pitlane in the past but that was the first time i saw a driver being squeeze towards pit boxes where mechanics stand.
And i do agree button was class....again, its a t0$$ up between lewis and button though, they are both good, both are my choice of favourite drivers, rosberg did well to, very well infact, MS was complaining about traction while niko got on with it, obviously a better set up than MS but who'd av thought that, especially in the wet?
