........but I recall an interview with James Hunt not long before his death. He lived in Wimbledon, and drove around in an old Morris Minor van? (the one with the wooden panels on the back and sides), saying he enjoyed the challenge of keeping up with modern traffic flow.

I can only assume he meant well outside South West London, otherwise I would think that WALKING would probably keep you up with the pace of modern traffic.
