See it from Bridgestone's position. Would YOU want to be the manufacturer of tyres for the PINNACLE of motor-racing that are seen to FAIL after a few laps???? They are doing this for GOOD publicity..... not BAD! How would the public view their tyres if they did that????

Anyway.... look at the REAL problem! We can all see that the REAL cause of the problems has been that the introduction of wings and 'underbody fun' has RUINED close racing! Yes, you can fix some of the symptons by altering many of the peripheral things like tyres, but why NOT cure the CAUSE of the problem. Simply CUT the downforce. Doing that solves MOST of the problems in one go!
