Heres my suggestions, ban or change anything that doesn't add to road car development.

1) Rear wings: Spec them like they do in DTM, maybe even include the handford device, it did do wonders in nascar. One element across the full width of car, like an LMP1 and 2

2) Diffussers: Spec them too, teams could easily build a car around a floor and diffusser.

3) Do away with multiple compound tyres, have one compound only that will NOT last a race distance hence more pitstops.

4) Limit pit crew: Like nascar, 2 wheel men and a lolipop guy.

5) Wheel nuts: Centre nuts do nothing for road car performance, change to 4 or 5 for longer stops.

6) Discs: Ban carbob/carbon brakes in favour of cast iron with set diameter to lengthen stopping distances.

7) And lastly and most shockingly ban paddle shift and replace with a STICK.
