In THAT case, Davy.... I blame YOUR DAD, PERSONALLY for the problems....... It's not ME and the likes of US who caused the problem but you own FATHER! Have it out with him!

Your suggestion is .... interesting.... as it's EXACTLY what we have today! Standard contributions which can be topped up. I hardly see that as radical. What WOULD be radical would be to BAN final salary pension schemes.... but... I suspect you wouldn't get a lot of support!

Your logic is strange, you balme the politicians...... and fail to blame the VOTERS who PUT them there! The voters who were TOO DAMNED LAZY to investigate to the changes that the politicians allowed! It was the COMPANIES who wanted the 'holidays' (which was BONKERS!) and NOT the one or two MINISTERS not 'politicians') who allowed this to occur.

The worst offenders are those who DIDN'T vote or, if they didn't feel they could vote for a party, failed to STAND for election THEMSELVES who I blame! Why? Beacsue they are the EXACT ones who allowed it to occur! Those who didn't vote don't have a RIGHT to an opinion once they missed their chance to excersize their power!
