could it be the direction of the circuit. (ie on circuits like Slverstone where corners are predominantly right handers (traditional racing line being line on left of track apex exit on left of track) ensure best vision for racing lines

Maybe (probably not though)

please dont completely slate it. its a 3AM adey theory
