My generation actually DID have some REALLY different ideas about what we'd do to make society BETTER.... which THIS generation, truly, DOESN'T.
I look at all the promises that *I* made when I was young about how *I* would 'make the world a better place'....... and I see how APPALLINGLY BADLY we have done it!
In 30 years..... you'll be sitting here (and I'll be safely dead!) and you will find that THIS Lot has done even WORSE because they HAVE no ideas on how to make the world BETTER!
At least my lot had HIPPIES who THOUGHT they had a better way! We also had REAL communists, kibutzers, REAL Neo-nazis, proper soclialist and TRUE conservatives and there were even REAL lLberals! Can you FIND any of those today....?
Give me a clue as to where to look to FIND the 'new path' of this younger lot!
I do like the term 'Kidults', however..... but have always assummed it's a contraction of the words:-
"Kidding themselves they ARE adults"
Isn't THAT what it really stands for?
