Davy........ As an IT consultants.... I run a 'thin-client' almost every day of my LIFE! ....and I have been for nearly TEN YEARS...... I know it as 'Terminal Server' but you may know it as 'Citrix'.

It WORKS and it works WELL........ but PCs are SO damned cheap, I run it on a PC Desk Top ... and KEEP the flexibility of running in 'thin' AND 'thick client' mode at the same moment..... on a PC! It's NOT the future.... it's the present AND the past....

However, clients are STRANGE things! I have shown the 'thin-client' mode to HUNDREDS of clients and have shown them the HUGE savings available to them..... (stupidly) only 3 clients have taken it up! We'll see if it REALLY has a future when more clients are willing to move away from the 'Thick-Client' mode.... which describes most of my clients PERFECTLY.......
