Errrrr Chris.......

....... so let me get this straight...... Lewis DELIBERATELY blocking a team mate who was on a FLYING LAP did NOT risk Fernando's pole position (for which he was going.......) and was thus OK.... but Fernando DELIBERATELY holding Lewis out of the pit box DID risk Lewis' pole...... and was NAUGHTY.......

.....errr..... can you run the 'logic' behind those two, damned nigh, IDENTICAL acts of trying to 'vandalise' a team mate as being somehow .....er... different in your mind....... I am having trouble with your 'logic'.....

Lewis's abilities were NOT described by me as 'moot'. Read it more closely...... The SUGGESTION that Lewis was NOT too 'novice to win' was the MOOT part! The reason WHY that's moot is because it's a waste of TIME discussing it (the DEFINITION of the word: moot) becasue we already know that is EXACTLY what happened.... his 'novice' skills WERE too low (at the time) to WIN simply BECAUSE it was his 'novice abilities' were what cost HIM the championship....!!!!! What the HELL is there to discuss about THAT point! The VASTLY more skilled (at the time) Fernando did NOT make that sort of mistake underpressure at the end of ANY of the recent seasons, even when under STAGGERING pressure from the MASTER..... Michael!

We seem to agree on some of it but YOU seem to be thinking in 'British Terms' that Lewis THRASHED Fernando in 2007..... this is NOT the case!

Fernando and Lewis finished on I*D*E*N*T*I*C*A*L points scores! They were BOTH only ONE point from the winning score! Yes.... at the start of the season, Lewis was WALKING over Fernando...... but that SOON disappeared when Lewis got the 'wobbles' and Fernando goy his head together!. Please also note that Fernando finally got 'on song' was during the period when the WHOLE of Mclaren senior managment (but NOT the staff!) were treating Fernando as a RIVAL! This was NOT a 'David and Goliath' fairy story..... it ended up as a LOSING DRAW!

It STAGGERS me that we British are incapable of seeing FACTS when it doesn't suit our nationalistic BIGOTRY! Lewis was BRILLIANT at the start of the year but the Fernando DRAGGED it all back even when the team were against him and Lewis did EXACTLY what Fernando had been PREDICTING from day ONE in the team...... Lewis FELL TO PIECES UNDER PRESSURE like ANY novice would!!

Please note, that I do NOT believe Lewis would do that NOW! Like anyone else on the planet.... he HAS matured and he NOW can withstand the pressure...... only an IDIOT (like RON!) would have expetected ANY driver to arrive at his FIRST year in F1 and NOT to get wobbly under-pressure while leading the championship! Look at Jenson..... he had EXACTLY the same wobbles towards the last half of the year and only his EXPERIENCE got him through to the end!
