right, change that to "the reason that hamilton drove into the gravel trap was to play his part in a behind doors deal that they'll throw both titles away to the scarlet cars to avoid ferrari pursuing further legal action against them regarding the leaked documents scandal" and you're onto something!

To me it was blind obvious at the time that this was the case, why, at the following race, did Hamilton suddenly suffer a electronic "glitch" when he did and then pit for new tyres when it began to look like he could win it again in the closing laps. Also why was Alonso the furthest off the Ferrari pace he had been all year at the meeting that counted despite the presence of a FIA steward in the McLaren garage that weekend to ensure equality between the two drivers.

It all adds up.
