Chris, we agree on much of this. However, do you think that Lewis would have ALLOWED Mclaren to employ Alonso, Schumacher, Kubica or VETTEL this year as EQUAL number 1 ????

He allowed them to have Jenson because (likle other people) he doesn't RATE him!

Alonso never expected Lewis to be THAT good and D*E*F*I*N*I*T*E*L*Y not THAT soon! He expected to receive EQUAL if not BETTER treatment than Lewis...... and he NEVER felt he got it!

If he was WRONG about that and behaved badly even though he was treated EQUALLY, then that places him in the IDENTICAL to position to LOADS of drivers. Prost/Lauda at Mclaren, Mansell at EVERY team he was EVER in, Johnny Herbert at Benetton, Eddie Irvine at FIAt, Reuben at FIAt, Reuben at Brawn, Graham Hill at BRM, Patrese at Williams, Jochen at Lotus, EVERY SINGLE number 2 driver at FIAt, Carlos Reuteman at EVERY team.... etc., etc.. Look ast Heiki's views on his time at Mclaren and Piquet's views at Renault. Alonso behaved like they ALL do! That's no reason to hold a SPECIAL grudge against Alonso! Unless you hold the IDFENTICAL view about Mansell...... and I suspect you DON'T!
