Thats where your wrong the Ipad has a great market place, and in a way upsells the usual PC owners to Mac's.

Think about it, the iphone is huge!, the Ipod is huge...now some of us know how good mac's are but now with the ipod/phone its gone mass market.
The Ipad bridges the gap. Its familure to all IPhone ipod users.

While i write this on a ugly heavy laptop i can see the appeal, when you just want to do stuff easy and quick. u pick up your digital photoviewer off the side, and start looking at the net. or adding to that homework, or play a game or now read a book. you then put it back. and its a smart picture viewer again.

I get it. briges the gap between Iphone and Mac. the only sales that could suffer are laptops.
