Oh come on winger, if you had a 2L you'd floor it eventually, we all would lol!

I had a volvo 850R 2.3 5 cylinder turbo up until a few years ago and i used to hit the rev limiter in every gear and i was only going to the corner shop.

Insurance for young un's is just one of those things i guess, best advice i can give is start small, drive carefully, don't try to show off and save your money for a proper car when your insurance allows, i know its easy for me to say but its the cold hard fact.

Incidentally, last wednesday a 19 year old put his clio through my girlfriends garden wall, his excuse to the police was he was testing his brakes!!! On a straight road yeah right, his cars a write off, and the quotes she's had for just the wall have been 2.5 to 3k never mind the 3 conifers, the plants, the lawn, the dog run, the decking, all flattened, you can bet his insurance will be double now for the next few years for that.
