Yesterday, the BBC had an explanation for the current weather.

Apparently a High Pressure bubble over the UK is forcing the air warmed by the Gulf stream that normally goes over the UK down and over Southern France to the Med.

This is not true. I am in the path of where that warm air should be and it's not here. It's not as cold as the UK but still it's cold, a little colder than is normal for January.

So why the lie on the BBC?
