He's already the greatest Formula One driver bar none... he holds the records for almost everything and has pushed the bar so far forward it will take a long time before anyone gets close to what he achieved let alone betters it. IF he can take two years out and come back [as an old man so to speak] and beat the best there is today... I for one will be gobsmacked... it will be one of sports most phenomenal achievements. Its a big IF, but if he does pull it off, he will surely be superhuman... but as you say, let's see.
Still it has all the ingredients to be the best season in many years -
o No clear dominant driver or car. o Hamilton, Vettel and Alonso in very strong teams. o A Senna on the grid for the first time in 16 years. o A backbone of privateer teams rather than auto manufacturers. o Kobayashi with a drive. ... ... ... and Michael Schumacher as an underdog.
Can't wait for the season to start.
