Battery life can be optimized by adjusting settings anyhow.......

It was a gripe with me at first, but with a few simple adjustments I now find I can hammer the apps, internet, etc,etc, and get pretty much a full day of use from it, and, as Trev says, you are never THAT far from a power outlet surely.

I use a netbook much of the time (Samsung SC10) and that has an `amazing` 6 hour battery life on it. That isn`t being funny, it really is the best battery time you can achieve on a laptop and is brilliant. I can probably get double that from my iphone, which does pretty much everything the netbook does.

The thing about the iphone is, if you look beyond the small gripes such as battery life, small spec camera, it simply outperforms everything else out there.
