My understanding is that the RM can modernise and will do with or without the agreement of the workers.

The fact is the management run the company not the bods on the shop floor.

The postal workers should not be striking. They have excellent renumeration package not to mention having jobs in the first place. If they don't like working for RM they should get down the job centre and see what else they can get. There is supply and demand in the labour market too.

And this strike will cause businesses to fold, cheques not recieved, goods delivered late or not ordered because of the strike.

Sack the lot, bring in temps who will be glad of the work.
