Also would you scrap your first 6 race wins and start your championship half way through he season,i know i wouldn't. Its a long season and you never know whats around the corner so the first chance you get to build up a lead then you take it and if things do go pear shaped later on then you'll be glad of the buffer you worked for earlier in the season.

Admittedly button is no Schumacher as he won championships with 3-4 rounds left to go but you cant blame button for that,he is what he is and if at the end of the season he has more points than anyone else then he deserves to be champion.
He won races when he should of won and he's finished in the points in races he wouldn't win,thats consistent enough for me.
