The main reason why the Brawn car doesn't work in the pack is that it has a brilliant aerodynamic package, but has poor mechanical grip. When following a car in the turbulent air, the aerodynamics go and so the car is very reliant on mechanical grip, which the Brawn lacks. So the brawn is very good out in front (see Buttons laps when he got past Sutil and Heikki). I think thats correct anyway :D
