What is Singapore 2008 was the last race of last season and the winner won the championship.
Given what we know now, are we saying the result would still stand and in that scenario there wouldn't be a law suit from the driver/team who came 2nd.
The fact it was a incident that had no bearing on the championship is totally irrelevant. Otheriwse we will end up with different grades of punishment for the same offence.

Yes of course I'm being sarcastic but it makes a mockery out of any sport where they turn round and say 'we'd like to do this but can't' I mean - if they changed the result from last year does anyone think Alonso or Renault will sue the FIA?
