....so started a new thread
Booney, if the brown stuff hits the fan because of Brown i would rather rely on my own planning for the basics
in the garage next to the kart is the SHTF larder, 10x 5 litres of water, 30 litre packs of of fruit juice, 80 odd cans...a mixture of tinned fish, veg, pasta/bean and meat based products, 2 tin openers, enough painkillers to worry MJ, windup radio used when prepping kart..........2 cases of carling and 2 bottles of the USSR best
since the little one have added 4 weeks worth of milk, nappies and wet wipes
all stock is rotated just by packing all garage stuff in one carrier bag at the supermarket, new stuff taken in, oldest stuff taken out, IF systems fail then the basics are there
it is just an insurance policy and a small way of relying less on instant help, my nan lived through the blitz..just and i loved her larder as a kid, it was always jammed packed with goodies even 40 years later....she lived through a time when the basics were not always there,
£150 just in case...makes sense to me unless you have 100% faith in others to look after you for the basics
