what do you want it for ?

hot hatch runabout , the odd trackday ?

I'm afraid asking what its like is another how long is a piece of string question , i am lucky enough having instructed and driven manymany track miles (and nearly a million road miles) to have tried loads of cars.

However back in the day and XR2 was a great hot hatch ... nowadays it would have the floor wiped by a similar sized toyota yaris that your mum might like for shopping .

you might think its fast , but if i drive to a test drive in our 4.2 v8 audi its going to feel gutless .

The only advice i can give is this .

Have a look round owners forums to see what issues people are having if any (most new cars are fairly good if not abused ) and even porsches given abuse fall apart (ask all those GT3 owners how much a gearbox costs)

once you have seen what issues there might be , looked at your budget , go drive the car ... get the longest test drive you can , and then go back for another if you have to .

All cars feel different to different people

all cars feel the same to the same people ? see what i am saying .

the only person who can say if its any good is you
