I personally think it would be a better system if you had to take a test prior to voting, a 20 question test with multiple answers or something like that that proves you are able to recognise the different candidates and what their policies are. If you fail the test then you don't get to vote on the grounds that you are incapable of forming an opinion formed on reasonable intelligence.

I hear loads of Labour supporters who when you ask them who are you voting they reply "Labour", so whys that then "because I've always done and me dad said never let the tories get in".
