1) You quote a SINGLE article in which there was SPECULATION about what had been signed by FIAt and the FIA! It was NOT an 'extract' from the contract! Not a single SOLE put their name to that article (in the sense of a 'quotation' from other teams about the problems whic this would cause! It has NO more 'validity' than MY statements which claimed the hidden contarct existed!
2) There is currently considerable speculation that it extended all the way BACK to 1998 and that the 2005 'signing' was a CONTINUATION of a hidden contract of which NONE of the teams were aware!
3) A simple example of a 'LUDICROUS decision' LEAPS from your 'answer'. The Mass damper was NOT objected to BY the 'stewards' (to quote you). In fact it passed ALL the rules on each occasion on which it was PRESENTED to them for OVER A YEAR. Not only that, the eveng FOLLOWING the FIRST ruling of ineligibilty of the FIA about mass dampers, it was PASSED yet AGAIN! It only BECAME a 'contentuious' item when FIAt (and thus it's junior partner, the FIA) could see that FIAt were about to LOSE the world championship beacsue they filed to make the mass damper WORK! 3a) Let's not even DISCUSS the JOKE FIA ruling on the 'contact patch' of the Michelin Tyres, the successful attempt to REMOVE Michelin from the tyre supplier list, the illegal FIAt 'barge boards' which MIRACULOUSLY became 'legal' once the FIA were leaned upon or any of the OTHER RIGGINGS over those years......
4) The double deck diffuser appears AFTER FIAt and FIA had fallen OUT over FIAt's abilities to RIG the rules just ONEs step too far! Or did YOU feel that the relationship between the FIA and FIAt did NOT take a 'down turn' at the start of this year?
5) all those years = 1998 to 2008. EXACTLY the period of the FIAt WINS!
With a bit of luck, we are at the END of the RIGGED contract...
(triggered by FIA's realisation that FIAt really DID intend to support FOTA, unlike the LAST time the PRETENDED to support the manufacturer's 'group' SOLELY to apply leverage in the FIA to get EXACTLY what they wanted: i.e., the FIA in FIAt's pocket!)
... if we are, we shall CONTINUE to witness FIAt's return to the totally MEDIOCRE team they have been for the majority of their years in racing. Without the FIA's bias twards them, I may be able to refer to them by the name of their chosng.....
However, as I now know that I canot trust the FIA to DECENTLY RUN A WHELK STALL WITHOUT CHEATING.... I suspect that the lies and subterfuge will continue.... so long as the members of the FIA continue to have wallets that need stuffing! We also know the name of THE most untrustworthy team in MotorRacing so I will not hold my breath waiting to see if the FIAt tendrils really ARE to be severed from infiltrating the FIA....
