It costs more to be associated with a winner. They get "more" exposure and a "quality" association.

Back markers are always cheaper both now and in the future.

Lets hope they see some sense and get workable rules "aggreed" by everyone.

Budget cap is not workable without everyone's aggreement and even then has to be introduced over a period. You can't do it overnight. Most staff have a long term contract and most equipment is paid for or on long term contract. They can't just fire everybody and chuck out all the kit.

Honda (now Brawn) and Toyota were the two best funded teams. They have two of the best cars.

Red Bull (the other front runner) have Adrian Newey. His salary is about 10% of this new £40M budget.

Fingers crossed for a possitive outcome.
