..in F1. All the teams agreed to that several years ago realising otherwise only one or two select teams could afford to compete .
the "cap" itself is not really the point ( it only covers the cars and direct costs,with drivers salaries, motor homes, corporate entertainment etc etc, all beaing additional). The really contentious part is the suggestion of different regs for capped and uncapped teams. A stupid idea !
