As I said, the police were always in a no win situation. Although highly trained, the police a just human beings and like the protesters they have their breaking point too - especially when threatened
On the day the media were looking for protester trouble and showing what a good job the police were doing. Now the marches are over, its now the turn to knock the police. Sky, ITV and the BBC show limited footage of the police 'attacks' NOT the footage prior to this trouble.
I agree that no one deserves to die but it would appear that we have a 2 rule state. Our law enforcers are guilty until proven innocent and the thugs are innocent until proven guilty.
As for being an April fool, I think we are all the fools abiding by the law. If you watch police camera action, night cop or any other reality cop program and you see time and time again how these people get away with murder.
Joyriders that race down our streets, across fields, driving down motorways at high speed in stolen cars being given a 1 year driving ban (although they are banned already, 3 months suspended sentence and a £50 fine.
If your child had been run over in the process an addition 5 years in jail that would be reduced by a 1/3rd for good behaviour.
I'm just playing devils advocate but its always worth thinking out of the box instead of listening to the BBC propoganda!!!
