SimonS, i agree with some of what you say but then reverse it, if the only threat is the cameras then just drive slower and dont worry about insurance, mot or a right to drive or stick on some clone plates, quick search of sites like piston heads, auto trader, ebay.........found 4 cars that match mine with plates shown, if that failed just drive around my town and i know 2 cars that i could clone.........and because parked on the drive can guess if insured, taxed and moted,

same as policing the streets there is no replacement for policing the roads, anything less and the ones that go out to break the law find a loophole......ways that i have not posted here

but the simple fact is real police act and react, remote cameras try to punish 2 weeks later via a NIP, who do trust to police the roads of the uk

sometimes it is not who is caught but who think they they might get caught, perception sometimes can remove the danger before it hits the road
