BBC coverage seems to be good but badly 'sign posted'.

I tried to watch the pratice unfold on the PC. A 'Text Conversation' page appeared with an 'advert' for Five Live..... who MINDLESSLY spent and HOUR discussion THE BL**DY FOOTBALL SEASON..... which was NOT occurring LIVE.....

.... then, with no warning, the 'text' suddenly gained LIVE IMAGES!!!! So I sat contentedly watching the practice.....

Had I not been working at the time, I would have abandoned the BBC coverage and would NOT have known that we could watch the session. Great work, BBC... lousy promotion!

***************

The sessions were pretty unreal! Heikki performing reasonably but Lewis absolutely HOPELESS! Adrian Sutil was FLYING in the first session ...and ended up moaning about his car being halfway up the grid in the second session.... doesn't he KNOW he was driving the Force India????? As always, Fischella: nowhere!

Rubens and Jenson doing solid work. Kimi went well but ONLY on the super sticky tyres but then on more normal tyres, almost identical to Filipe.

The revelation was the Williams.... It looked GOOD and it went WELL!

The front wings ARE too big and the rear wings ARE too small.....but ONLY VISUALLY! The small rear wing simply does NOT deliver enough downforce to stop the cars from oversteering! There is now PLENTY of power to overcome the rear grip....... There were GREAT KARTING MOMENTS of drivers being forced to catch and CONTROL their cars! This is how F1 SHOULD BE! The 'master drivers' can do it... others look seriously out of their depths..... or their chassis must be seriously evil!

It all bodes well for the season......

Who would have thought that the minnow of Williams would be leading the first and second practice session, 1 and 2.....

Ian
