You sound an intelligent person; why act as though you're thick?

The logic is truly simple:-

* The NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT is set at a value.
* It's a breach of the LAW to exceed that value.
* Just becasue YOU think it's a safe stretch of road for YOU to break the law does NOT make it acceptable.

I'll illustrate the point.....

You know.... there's this REALLY nice stretch of High Street in Cambridge where it's PERFECT to mug little old ladies who DAWDLE; there's no Police and few passers-bye BUT the B*ST*RDS have put a CAMERA there.... I won't guess why... and, lo-and-behold, they catch a ferw of us muggers REGULARLY.... you know, I call it a Nanny State....

Did you recognise your 'theme' in there?
