Errr....well, the may be safer than going over Niagara Falls in a barrel but... mile for mile, the don't get CLOSE to aircraft, trains and Buses (in that ordeer) for safety.... so what on EARTH did you mean?

You seem to have a problem with 'logic' THOUGHOUT your reply. Let's look at it:

1) Because a grieving father cannot annunciate his grief clearly, you STAGGERINGLY jumpt to the comclusion that 'blanket bans DON'T work'. How in GOD'S NAME did you make THAT jump of 'logic'.

2) If Blanket Bans don't work (as you CLAIM) perhaps it's time we lifted the 'blanket ban on MURDER..... or RAPE.....or running 500cc engines in Rotax Max.... beacsue they look EXACTLY like 'blanket bans' to me..... and THEY seem to work! Don't even START to think how the Drink Driving Laws work if 'blanket bans' DON'T work!

3 Bohr's law does NOT refer to fluids..... However, Bohr's (unwritten) 'law' states "The crazier the theory, the more likely it is to be correct." Perhaps THAT was what you meant. Because you suggestion certainly IS pretty crazy!

However, Bohr's MODEL is a simplistic view of the Atom. Still hardly applicable, here!

However, perhaps you meant BOYLE'S alw...... which IS to do with fluids/gases which is closer. But not a lot!

More likely still, was that you meant Bernoulli's Principle which states that the FASTER a fluid flows, the more it DROPS in pressure. However, applying THAT to cars would indicate that travelling FASTER would SUFFOCATE you..... I hope you notice that is EXACTLY the REVERSE of what you stated..... no matter!

Perhaps you were just GUESSING after all!

3) Finally, I LOVE your thinking on the 4% (joke) Statistic. Your 'logic' would imply that lowering the speed limit would INCREASE the number of 'exccessive speed' accidents simply becasue limits don't afect peeople's dribving speed and thus, there wqould be MORE people being recorded as being in EXCESS of the speed limits.......

..... unless.......

... lowering the speed limit actually ENCOURAGED people to drive SLOWER.....

I kknow you feel that's a REALLY fanciful idea......

Becasue 'blanket bans' DO work.... when they are ENFORCED!
