I think I have STATED my position clearly. Obviously, more lives would be saved using limiters than would be lost by using limiters (in my opinion!).

However, that doesn't negate the loss of a SINGLE life that MIGHT be CAUSED by limiters. You seem to be making a classical error:-

1) This is a problem
2) We must do SOMETHING
3) This IS something
4) Let's do that REGARDLESS of it NOT being the SOLUTION!

That's EXACTLY how we got the joke of the 'dangerous dogs act'!
