Your KFC argument is a CLASSIC!

Except you missed the POINT!

The Mac is about what it LOOKS like.... the expensive meal is about what it TASTES like and what it CONTAINS for the money!

If you ONLY buy your meals so that you can show off to your friends about the MONEY you spent then, YES, you WOULD be daft. However, you sit BEHIND the screen of your Mac for 8 hours a day and this you don't see ANY of the stuff which is supposed to make the Mac LOOK good! Damn it, your screen looks IDENTICAL to a PROPER screen! You are NOT geting any advantages for all that EXTRA money you have spent on your Mac.... unless you count 'envious glances' as 'value'.

I don't give a DAMN if the public sees me eating a KFC..... but you seem to care ENOUGH to pay for the 'glory' of being SEEN eating your expensive meal!

Finally, what YOU have is the REVERSE.... you have bought the KFC equivalent of a computer but you have PAID a "The Ivy" type PRICE for it!
