I deeply sympathise with her predicament and that of the family Jade Goody will leave behind. 27 years of age is way too early to die and this is a dreadful tragedy for everyone involved.

That aside, Jade Goody should absolutely not be considered a role model for anyone. From an early age, kids need to understand that application and dedication lead to success in the vast majority of cases. The corollary is also true but in a very small number of cases, Jade Goody being one of them, luck can play a part to usurp that.
