Give them a PC with a fresh install of Windows XP, an already configured internet connection and nothing else. What percentage of people could:
a) Illegally download a CD and listen to it. b) Illegally download a movie and watch it. c) Illegally download some software and use it. d) Legally purchase (through Amazon or such like) any of the above and listen to/watch/use it.
Of course, someone could set them up so they have all the right codecs, software, bookmarks etc to do so, but even then (certainly in the case of movies and software), most are not technically astute enough to:
a) Discern a "good" download from a "bad" one. b) Work out what to do with rar's, iso's, bin's c) Work out why their recently downloaded software keeps asking for the CD d) etc. etc.
