If the flywheel type of kers device was connected to the transmission with some kind of universal joint (cv joint?) and a servo/pushrod assembly at the other end, could it be used to stabliize the car whilst cornering on the limit? The servo would move the axis of the kers device in relation to the direction of the car and possibly affect the inertial effects on the car.
Just a thought...
