yep ,try the old O levels, anyone know what logrythmic tables are let alone know how to use them?Or even algebra? Ok you have calculators and computers but one day you may be in need of "long hand" maths and not have a clue and not a PC or calculator in sight. Do they even teach long division and multiplication now?

I left school with 7 "O" levels and was told "forget "A" levels, university is far beyond you" after talking with my elder son and daughters friends that are "post Grad" I don't think it would be outrageous to consider.
