Please don’t stir up another PC/Mac debate through lack of knowledge.

All browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Apple's Safari) regardless of platform have security issues from time to time and release patches that must be installed and kept up to date to remain secure.

It’s not a big problem, the media have just latched onto it on a quiet news day. Run the automatic update system, install the updates and you’ll be fine.
