As you have not refuted my point about the example I gave, I assume that you can do nothing OTHER than to accept that I DID answer your 4 points from the previous posting!

As it is CERTAIN to have created the machine you are using, the clothes you are wearing, the chair in which you are sitting (even if you ARE Amish; they DO use steel saws!) one would have to be amazingly thick to think that science IS irrelevant to any Western Person!

Luckily, we have passed the point where we need to PROVE that mankind has ADDED to the problem as 95% of our policitians THINK that it has. They have the power and they have STARTED to wield it..... albeit very slowly and lightly. That will, I am sorry to say, continue until we have the first HUGE climatic catastophe when it will SUDDENLY wake them, and the public, UP!

I use science to explain this stuff to those (like you) who are capable of rational thought. I even try to do it for othes who are NOT! But.... if they insist, like RoadRat, in closing their eyes to demonstrable FACTS (either way) then I propose to give up trying to be rational with them and use THEIR type of 'logic' as a reply! If a person chose to abandon 'logic' then I CANNOT use logic to explain things to them! You know that Singers and RoadRat fit that bill, nicely!

Having said all that, you may STILL think I should be being 'logical' and 'reasonable' with RoadRat! Just explain to me how I am supposed to explain things by using EVIDENCE if he denies that 'evidence' could change EVER his views!
