Yes, Ayrton DID later admit it WAS deliberate. However, you carefully forget that it was RETALIATITION for Prost doing the IDENTICAL manouvre (at the chicane) exactly 12 months earlier!

No, that's NOT an excuse but just stating the Ayrton 'cheating' phase in this story, you leave the impression amongst those who DON'T know that Ayrton started this stuff. He DIDN'T! And, for presicion, I supported BOTH Ayrton and Alain at the time!

However, again, you are having to go RIGHT back to the early 1990s. None of us have argued that F1 was being rigged VERY much back in those days! Our point has ALWAYS been that it begins to get UTTERLY blatant from the arrival of Michael (et al) at FIAt! That was CONSIDERABLY after Ayrton and Alain had their 'incidents'!
