Hi, I had a 2000 Solo. I replaced the stubs with a pair of standard Italian ones and they worked well - I had the Bayford lap record for a year using them....
The Solo is a great chassis; don't go stiff on the front - I had a stiff floor tray and changed it for a flexible thin alloy one and it transformed the handling.
