personally I think the ability to machine the blocks to equalise things is s good move, I'm getting one of my engines done next week..... I get the impression the engine builders are sick and tired of building SP engines as its nothing but aggro ripping apart 50 engines, measuring everything to build 5 good ones, then working out what to do with the 45 remaining not-so-good engines, this should be a win-win for everyone.
regarding the GX200's, I heard a cracking story recently about a top prokart outfit, they take their sealed engines to a private dyno before a race weekend for the full day, performed over 200 dyno pulls and tested all manner of exhausts, carbs, jet combinations and what not, and found a nice slice of performance......just goes to show what lengths people will go to keep winning if there is any possibility left to have a good old fiddle.....fair pay to them, I dont think what they are doing is any form of cheating.
